Ah!! it is a rainy day,
Hope it is here to stay.
These lovely drops of rain,
Makes me forget all pain.
The sound of splashing water,
Flowing through the gutter,
Makes me jump, like a boy,
Who just got a new toy.
After so many hot days,
The cold water on my face,
Oh! what joy it brings,
With delight, my heart sings.
The sweet aroma in the air,
Seems to be so rare.
Ah!! This rainy day,
